Introduction

Welcome to Nivanth.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Nivanth platform, including all features, functionality, and services provided through it.

By accessing or using Nivanth, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Description of Service

Nivanth is a real-time event operations platform that enables organizers to manage events, participants, teams, judges, logistics, and communication within a unified system.

Features may include, but are not limited to:

Participant and team management
Real-time attendance and check-in systems
Event phase and workflow control
Judge assignment and scoring
Submission tracking and evaluation
Integration with third-party services (e.g., code repositories)
Communication tools, including community discussions and private messaging

User Roles & Responsibilities

Different roles on the platform carry different responsibilities.

ORGANIZERS
Managing event data and participant access
Ensuring accuracy of event-related information
Handling communications and decisions within their event
PARTICIPANTS
Provide accurate registration information
Use the platform only for legitimate event-related purposes
Respect other users and event rules
JUDGES & STAFF
Use the platform responsibly and fairly
Maintain integrity in scoring and evaluations
Avoid conflicts of interest

Account & Access

Users may be required to create an account or be invited to access an event
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Nivanth reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

Use the platform for unlawful or harmful activities
Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
Distribute spam or malicious content
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Interfere with platform performance or security
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of access.

Communication & Community Features

Nivanth may provide communication tools such as Q&A discussions, messaging, and support channels.

Users are responsible for the content they share
Community moderation may be applied to maintain a safe environment
Emergency and private communication channels are for support purposes only and must not be misused
Nivanth does not guarantee real-time responses or outcomes from communication features.

Submissions & Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit (e.g., project files, repository links).

By submitting content, you grant Nivanth a limited, non-exclusive right to:

Process and display content within the platform
Enable evaluation, scoring, and event-related workflows
Users are responsible for ensuring they have rights to any content they submit.

Third-Party Integrations

Nivanth may integrate with third-party platforms such as code repositories for submission review and evaluation.

Use of such integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms
Nivanth is not responsible for external services or their availability

Platform Availability

Nivanth is designed for real-time operations, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
System performance may vary based on external factors
We are not liable for disruptions during events

Data & Privacy

Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using Nivanth, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Nivanth in the following cases:

For violations of these Terms
For misuse or abuse of the platform
At our discretion to protect system integrity or users
Users may stop using the platform at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nivanth is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not responsible for event outcomes, decisions, or results

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nivanth harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

Your use of the platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your content or actions within the platform

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be reflected with a revised Effective Date.

Continued use of the platform after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
